We are delighted to announce that the 2nd International Conference: Languages in Medicine: Teaching, Testing, Practice will be held on September 11-12, 2026 in Kraków. This year we are joining forces with EALTHY, the international association for teachers of English for healthcare, to broaden the scope of expertise, perspectives, and opportunities offered to participants. Creating a joint event under the name “English for Healthcare: from expertise to practice”, we are shaping an inspiring and forward-looking event that will open even more space for fresh ideas, interdisciplinary dialogue, and innovative approaches to the role of English across medical and health-related fields. “English for Healthcare: from expertise to practice” is designed to showcase the latest opportunities and advancements in the global world of English for healthcare – from classroom practice to materials development, from language research to language assessment, from the impact of technology and AI to finding inspiration on how to develop your English for healthcare career.
This unique conference is a fantastic opportunity to discover and exchange expertise, new ideas, and best practice with teachers, researchers, writers, translators, publishers and assessment bodies working in this fascinating and fast-moving language field.
