Please note that speakers will be limited to current EALTHY members, including institutional and associate memberships. If you would like to present but are not yet a member, please join. Membership is only €55 for a year with discounts for institutions.

Proposals can include syllabus design, materials design, teaching methodology, research results, and professional development. 

We are looking for presentations, workshops and posters on topics, case studies and research that that will actively engage participants.

They should offer practical ideas for participants to use in their practice and explore trends and developments that are current and applicable.

We are looking for proposals on the following themes:

• The impact of AI and educational technology on teaching English for Healthcare

• How to overcome the challenges of inter-cultural communication within a globalised healthcare sector with globally mobile workforce

• Innovation and best practice in the English for Healthcare and/or OET preparation classroom

• Innovation and best practice in assessment and test preparation, including OET

FORMAT OF PRESENTATIONS, WORKSHOPS AND POSTERS

Presentations: Presentations should last 30 minutes, which includes 5 to 10 minutes for questions and discussion at the end.

Workshops: A practical, interactive, how-to session with plenty of audience involvement lasting 45 minutes.

Poster, size A1 or A0: Suitable for presentation of your academic research, both in progress or completed.
