Dr Joe Wang

Joe Wang graduated from St Mary’s Hospital medical school, London in 1997 and was awarded Membership of the Royal College of Physicians [London] in 2002. He was awarded a Clinical Training Fellowship by Kidney Research UK and completed his PhD thesis in Gene & Cell Therapy in 2012. He also completed his specialist training in both General Internal Medicine and Nephrology in 2012. He is currently a Consultant Physician in Acute Medicine & Nephrology at St George’s Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Honorary Lecturer at St George’s Hospital Medical School. During his medical career he has been heavily involved in teaching both at an undergraduate and postgraduate level, undertaken examiner roles and sat on medical interview panels.

Kieran Donaghy

Kieran Donaghy is a teacher at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, trainer, and award-winning writer. His website on the use of film in language teaching Film English has won a British Council ELTons Award for Innovation in Teacher Resources. He is the co-author of Films in Health Sciences Education.
